Hello all,

I would like to upgrade to Jaguar, but before I lay out the cash, is there a noticeable speed bump? I realize I'm running on an old unit here (333mhz iMac with 384mb ram), but I've been satisfied with how it's run to this point. I guess I'm worried that upgrading will make it more sluggish as more features are added, etc? Plus, I would love to be able to run Safari and some other apps that require Jaguar to run, but only if it's wise to do so. Thanks for all your advice.

I did not notice much of a speed gain from 10.1.5 to 10.2.x. B&W G3/400 384 MBs RAM here. However, I don't think you should worry about a DECREASE in speed either, because if anything.. some operations are faster on my machine after goin to Jag. 10.2 is also quite a bit more "polished" than 10.1.x.
