I just got an idea....

What if Apple in a future release of iPhoto included a feature of including Windows compatability when burning pictures to a CD (or DVD)? I don't mean compatible on the file format level (I expect iPhoto2 already does that), but to include a Windows installer of QuickTime and a QuickTime slideshow of the images on the CD. It would only need a checkbox for "Windows compatability" and that's all iPhoto users have to do...

I am sure it would impress a lot of (lost) Windows people, and at the same time help Apple spread QuickTime around.

Here are some other ideas (or wishes) for iPhoto:
- SPEED! It needs to get faster. I have around 3000 images in my library, and it's slow! (iPhoot library manager is a godsend though...)
- Contextual menu support
- Rendezvous support (browsing another macs library would be cooler than anything!)

Yeah, and make download be 370MB
There are still modem users.

What? A windows slide show viewer to be burned on CD wouldn't take 370 MB.
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

Hmm.. Please re-read what I said. This is supposed to be burned on a CD. QuickTime install takes something like 10 megs, and it's on the CD. No need for downloading, that's the idea
