So my 80gig hard drive says it has 3gig on it, but that's not right. My music folder says it has 15gig, which is accurate. I notice when I open iphoto many of my photos aren't there in the program, but there on the hard drive. Any clue how to fix this?

See if rebooting frees up some space. There can be a lot of temp files that don't get cleaned up until reboot (like VM pageouts, etc.).

DiskWarrior should do the trick....
