I know I think it is great that Chimera will save all my username's and passwords in my Keychain when I want it to do so but I wonder if Safari is planning on offering this feature in the future?

I can't imagine why they wouldn't but does anybody else have any views on username/password storage?

Hear, hear. I actually find this feature much more usefull than tabbed browsing. I have so many different accounts and usernames on differing websites that it has grown into quite a list. Chimera makes all of this painless once it is entered into the keychain.

I agree, it's a really handy feature that would be welcome in Safari. Although Chimera has problems with different passwords on the same domain name.

Safari has it. Safari has it. Safari has it. Safari has it.

Not sure about you guys but i have no issues with Safari and keychain access storing all my passwords for me. Any site that requires a password brings up the keychain access panel for me. Once it's entered I never have to enter my pass again. Not sure why some keep asking for this feature when it's there.

I think they are referring to keychain access on forms. In Chimera, sites with name and pwd fields on forms can be automatically populated using stored keychain data. This is not the case in Safari, and I agree that it is a useful feature.

Ok, so then the proper whine/complaint/observation would be:

'How about keychain access in forms?" Seeing how keychain access is present. I don know, however, that some don't even get pass dialog keychain access, so it's confusing at this point who has what access. I just want to make sure the disinformation is correctly broadcasted to the forum members.

Looking forward to see what Apple can do with safari.
