I read that Microsoft was supposed to unveil their new MSN browser for OS X at Macworld but haven't heard anything (not that I care).

I guess they are pissed about Safari, ha ha.

Anyway, what is the deal on this? and I don't want to hear a bunch of flaming.

I was wondering the same thing. My uncle uses MSN and I know that if he were to ever use my Mac, he'd like to sign in to something like that. Weird. Maybe it wasn't ready?

MacNN had pics of the Microsoft booth, and they had an MSN poster up. I wonder why they never said anything about it.

There was a guy dressed as the MSN butterfly handing out MSN preview cds
the day I was at MWSF (last wednesday).

I picked up a cd, but I haven't taken a look at its contents. If I have time
I'll take a look at the disk tonight and let you guys know whats on it.

Yeah this is quite odd. I was really hoping to see an IE6 announcement sometime last week. I can't believe for one minute that they'd cancel the announcement because of Safari and/or Keynote.

They're probably adopting Windows behavior to their OS X apps so every time you click the icon, it opens a new copy.

how many butterflies can you fit on a single screen?

Looks very Microsoft... and that isn't a goog thing.

At least Windows Switchers will feel good coming to the mac.

Hmm, I wouldn't be so sure.

Why should Microsoft continue development of the free IE 6 for the Mac, when is Apple is developing Safari? Why not just fold it into MSN instead, a product in which they can make a profit?
