My brother just migrated to a 2x1.25GHz from a G3 400. He bought the FCP 3.0 upgrade to install on his new machine. First, he unintalled FCP 2.0 from the G3. In order to install FCP3 on the DP box, he had to boot into 9 and install FCP1, then upgrade from X.

I have many programs that are the same way. How will I be able to install them on a new machine that won't boot 9. You all know that you can't install FCP in Classic. So do I have to give up $1000 for a full license?
It I want your opinion, I'll beat it out of you.
