Hi,

I've just got back to Uni and was expecting my copy of Jaguar to be sitting in me pigeonhole waiting for me. It wasn't (should arrive tomorrow) so I was just wondering:
I know that general Finder responsiveness is quicker, but does it make any difference to actual applications? Will Word run faster? Or will it be the same as 10.1?

Ah, good! That clears that one up then. One more night without Jaguar! Bloody Apple UK! They said it shipped on Friday night and it's now Tuesday!

Everything will be quicker out of the gate and faster. More stability, too, imho.

additionally, after installation, you need to run fsck to repair disk problems (if any), then run repair permissions. This will make 10.2 run better from the get-go as well.
