I have a G4 450 Cube which I am using as a file server. The machine I am serving which I use is a dualGig Quicksilver. I have the Energy Saver prefs set to not sleep and the Screen Effects set to never start. I have issues with the server becoming unresponsive after rather short periods of time. I use VNC app to check these settings since the Cube has no display connected to it. Is there something I am missing which will keep the Cube responsive reliably? Or do I need OSX Server for it to remain an alert server?
