I'm at the point now where I do not run any classic apps any more, and in fact I recently removed the classic 'System Folder' and 'Applications (Mac OS 9)' folder from my hard drive.

Should I consider reformatting my drive to UFS? Will I notice any performance and/or operational (i.e. no more fragmentation, etc.) improvements?

Any input would be apreciated.
I'm cookoo for Cocoa Apps!

I wouldn't recommend switching. Aside from matters of case-sensitivity, there are more than a few Carbon apps which don't work properly on a UFS system.

At this point, I'd recommend using UFS only if you need it for some sort of Unix development that requires a case-sensitive filesystem.
You are in Soviet Russia. It is dark. Grue is likely to be eaten by YOU!

Add to that, UFS is much slower than HFS+ (at least on OS X, not the case with other Unices).

Stick with HFS+.
