Hi guys,
I just arrived to Spain and I'm having problems when connecting to the internet in my family home.

The internet system provider is based on a ADSL USB device. Of course OS X has not USB port as an option in the network preferences.

Additionally the software provided by Telefonica (the company) is only for windows machines (yes, I feel like a minority in my own country).

Is there any solution that you are aware of?

Thanks,

Pd. Yes, I've already complained to the support team for the lack of OS X (or 9) support.

No. However, you can change the USB modem and get an Ethernet modem. Be warned: it may cost you a bit more.

You'll need the specific driver for the ADSL USB device. If you have a green, slug type adsl modem OSX drivers are available.

Took me a while but I think that I found out a solution. Alcatel has drivers for USB adsl modems that can be downloaded at:

Not perfect though, but it works!
