I got my Jaguar disc from the Student Developer program if that makes a difference.

During finals I deleted iChat, and I hate that I don't have it anymore. I downloaded Pacifist to reinstall iChat, but after placing essentials.pkg on my hard drive, and then opening it with Pacifist, I cannot extract iChat at all.

Any help would be IMMENSELY appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul
btw - I have 6.97GB of Hard Drive Space left.
Please could you stay awhile to share my grief, for its such a lovely day to have to always feel this way.

I believe you're the person who e-mailed me today. I have a hunch that your problem is related to a bug that was in 1.0 that I fixed a while ago in later development builds. I've sent you my current build, so you can see if the problem still persists. If it still exists in the new build, I'll have to add it to my list of bugs to fix, and I'll probably ask you some questions.

Charles

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!
