Yay! My boss just had me order 2 new dual 1GHz G4s for the office, one of which will be my new machine! Yay!

Hey! That's what I'm upgrading from! ;-) Will be really nice, since I do graphic design for both web and print and also develop web sites. The old beige G3 was getting a weeeee bit too slow for bigtime graphics stuff.

You are going to be pumped when they come in and you give them a spin. Poster above is right, OS X and all apps you have will fly on your new G4s. I've got one at home and always enjoy doing work or playing games on it.

Awesome. I just got one of the new dual 1 ghz G4s. They rock. I got Apple Pro Speakers with them so it looks like two eyes are are staring at me.

I prefer my JBL Creature speakers with my Dual Now all I need is a nice flat LCD rather than this great big lump of a CRT...

Yah, I didn't get the 1 GHz, but I did get a dual 867... and I upgraded from a baige g3...

I'm in heaven...

(but now they expect me to be 5x faster)

I got the same thing, upgrading from a B&W G3/350. And you're right, now they expect me to be productive!
