I bought my girlfriend a web-cam,a Logitech, for here PC. I like to use it on my Mac, but logitech doesn't support Mac OS. Is there any other software I can use?

Does it connect via Firewire or USB?

I know that a universal Firewire driver was just released for such webcams. Check it out at http://www.ioxperts.com/dcam.html

How did it come to this? Goodbye PowerPC. | sensory output

macam can be found on versiontracker..... I have a logitec shitty webcam that i picked up... no mac drivers whatsoever on the logitec site, but macam works fine with it, and it provides the drivers to allow the cam to work not only in the macam client, but in all the other fun programs in X that support webcams. The download is about 1 meg =)

Have fun!

Can one of you guys name a CHEAP USB webcam that will work w/ the Maccam drivers?

Which Logictech one works? How much is it?

All the really cheap ones I've tried never work - and I don't want to spend more than $40 on a webcam.

Thanks..
