I only have dial-up at home but access to networked PCs (only) at work. My problem was getting the large 10.2.3 combo file down my dial up before I popped my cloggs.
Anyway, just to pass on some useful info. You can download your updates etc on to PC and then burn a CD or use zip and then take the update home for you Mac. Transfer the file(s) to your HD. Mac reads ISO burned discs (I had read some where that this was not the case, but it's not true obviously). Hey presto, I have my Mac running 10.2.3 now.

I'll be doing the same when iPhoto, iTunes etc come out.
I had tried this trick before with old Classic files but it never worked for me but it does with OSX...which is nice.
Of course what would be better if Apple would put the updates on the free CDs that come with Macworld/ Mac User/ MacFormat. Now wouldn't that be nice Apple.
