I am using Chimera as my default browser. I like tabbed browsing.

Now, I am testing Safari. As a switcher, can anybody tell me how to change between windows rapidly (keyboard/mouse shortcuts), without having to use the "Window" command in the menu bar?

Thanks!

It's the command key + the key right above the left option key (how that is labeled depends on the keyboard layout you use).
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

Thanks! Nice description, too. It's the "</>" key on my Swiss keyboard.

Couldn't find that in OS X Help. Seems to apply to windows in every app. Great!

I'm still looking for the key to switch tabs in Chimera. There's a shortcut in the Navigator menu, but I can't find the key on my Swiss keyboard. Looks like "(" or ")", split in the middle. Where's this key on the US keyboard?

Command-shift-the two keys right to p

You can look that up in the app Key Caps (Tastatur or Touches) if you switch the keyboard layout with the little flag in the menu bar (if you don't have a flag in the menu bar, you can enable additional keyboard layouts in System Preferences->International->Input Menu).

Thanks again!

It was not two keys right to p, but I was able to look it up in "Tastatur". Swiss German keybard is different than German.

In Chimera, I press "Apple/command" + "alt" + "9" to switch!

Super!

If you go Help in Safari, there is a long list of shortcuts....

Of course nobody looks at the help files unless like me you click on it out of curosity to see if it works

Wait companies put something other than "your a moron for need thing this" in their help things now!?
haha

Well I'm gona have to start using the help feature more! The only thing I ever did with the help option was in OS 9 when I wanted the aplication switcher with lil icons in the bottom of my screen.. no clue how people use OS 9 without it... it's kinda like a dock.. .but I put it off to the left... wish I could do that with my dock now that I think of it... oh well center works too
