Just a quick question. How can I run a a shell script (.sh file) from the finder. When I try to double click on the .sh file I just get the standard "no default application specified". And I can't select terminal, it's disabled.

Give the file the extension .command

e.g. instead of scriptname.sh, call it scriptname.command

The Finder will then execute the script in a terminal session.
