Can someone give some instructions on install kde on mac os x? I have fink installed but i dont know if i need the Dev tools and things like that. I know this is alot to ask.

You need the dev tools. Then do 'fink install bundle-kde' and take a nap. It takes a while.

Run "sudo dselect"

Update your package list.

Go to the select option

Type "/KDE" -- it will go down to this:

__ ? ? bundle-kde <none> 3.0.2-2 KDE convenience package

Hit "+"

You will see the "dependency" screen. Hit space.

It will list a ton of packages required by KDE. hit space.

Hit return until out at the main screen.

Select install and wait forever while it downloads and installs.
