This is strange...

I have installed a large quantity of fonts into /Library/fonts/ directory, and I can use it as normal... Then I decide to remove it, by taking it out from /Library/fonts/ directory and put it into my desktop. But then I can still see those fonts in the fonts menu in applications. If I select those fonts that I thought I have removed, all the text goes blank.

I have restart the applications concerned, and even reboot the machine... but I still can't remove those font names in the menu... has anyone seen this before (it seems like there's some sort of cache in OS X... can I refresh the font cache?)
