how do i enable a Kingston network card in 10.2.3? i installed it in my quicksilver 867, and i read somewhere that this card was working with 10.2...any help would be great.

If there are no drivers that came with the card for OS X (and it's not working when you plugged it in) then if the card is based on realTek's drivers, you can download and install those and see if that will work.
If RealTek's drivers don't work, I think you're SOL.

add the newtwork card in the Network Ports as en1
check in AppleSystemProfiler if the card is there, then
go to System Preferences > Network > Network Port Configurations > New
|

is this is in system preferences? when i go tto add the card in Network Port Configurations it only gives me Modem or built in ethernet as the only port options. am i missing a step?

System Preferences -> Network will show all network adapters it knows how to talk to.
if your card doesn't appear there, you need to install drivers to allow Mac OS X to talk to it.
Did you try the RealTek drivers?
