Hey list,

I tried doing a search and couldn't find anything. Is there a way to reduce the size of icons? I'm on a 1ghz tibook and it feels strange to see the icons so big. "Big," in this case, is relative, but I'm used to seeing my icons pretty small since I'm running 1600x1200 on a 19" for my desktop.

I just want my icons on the tibook to appear smaller. Is there a setting/hack for doing this?

Thanks much,

Wynn

View menu > Display Options

Or something like that. It's command-J. I have my system set to Japanese right now and I don't remember the exact wording.

Yup. That's it.

Select the Finder.

Click on 'View'

Click on 'Show View Options'

or

Select the Finder

Command-J

Either will work.

To choose doubt as a philosophy of life is akin to choosing immobility as a means of transportation.

Perfect, thanks much guys. 36x36 and a font size of 10 works perfect for me on my tibook.
