I have installed Apple's X11 and Fink, I installed the Bundle-KDE package, but when I load up KDE, none of fonts come up, instead all fonts are substituted with "-" I also tried installing the UK-English language pack since I couldn't find the US one and that did nothing.

Which fonts? Do you mean the OSX fonts? For that you have to deal with Fondu or xfnt. However even there while fonts will work with some applications (i.e. xterm) it won't with others.

Here's a picture to show you what I mean :


all kde apps show up like this picture, all buttons, menus, tabs, etc... that have text on them don't display the text, instead - is shown, what am I missing?
