In my mail client I keep getting all these bounced messages to new@new.com The issue has to do with Blind Carbon Copy (BBC)

I don't know why but every message is getting blind carbon copied to new@new.com which does exist so the messages bounce.

The problem is sometimes when I create a new message it automatically has the BBC line in it and new@new.com which I can delete. But most times I expand to show the BBC header and new@new.com is not in there but it BBC a copy to new@new.com anyway.

Can somebody please help me? The only thing I can think of is along time ago I might have downloaded a mail.app add on that had something to do with BBC but i can't find it or remember where to look for it.

Yes I only have two rules, I've checked them both very carefully.

Rule #1 Apple ADC Rule, which came with Mail.app

Rule #2 just hilites mail a certain color if it is from a friend.

I also know that it has nothing to do with my mail servers as I have about ten different accounts I use for sending out mail. It does the new@new.com bcc thing on all of them.

Sounds like a case where trashing the preferences might be in order.
