Okay. I downloaded Safari. I tried to log in to my hotmail, and I get an error message stating that my browser does not support Javascript. No problem, I'll just go in to the prefs and fix this...
BUT I go there and Java and all that crud is already enabled.

What gives. Why can't I get to my hotmail? I relaunched, rebooted, deleted and redownloaded, still the same...

ibook, Rev A, 12GB HD, 288MB Ram, Cable Modem (home), DSN (Work), OS X.2.3

Any ideas? Anyone? Anyone? Bueler?

Javascript is NOT Java.

And Safari is not yet compatible with hotmail so it seems (I can't verify since I don't use hotmail)

Safari has issues with hotmail and the issue is noted and should be addressed in future updates.

here's a temporary workaround...
log in the normal way to hotmail using safari.
once you get the java script error, click on "help contents". this will bring you to your account.
click on the inbox tab. there's your email!

It works for me on the second try as well. After I get the error page, I just click on the "hotmail sign-in" link.
