Is there an equivalent for *nix systems for the Norton Ghost? I would like to find a cross platform software if possible. This would be great for backing up a fresh install of OSX with all my *nix stuff loaded to go. Plus, to be able to ghost image dare I say, Window systems as well so I only have to deal with one bit of software. Anything like it in the GNU world?

Thx

Check out dd, its should fit some of your needs. There's also a ghost program like being written by some netbsd members but can't remember the name of the project.
