I find this ALL OVER my Console application log:

## Component Manager: attempting to find symbols in a component alias of type (regR/carP/x!bt)

Could this be a contributor to some quirky behavior on my dual gig MDD?

It means you have the Toast MPEG encoder component installed. I don't think it contributes to quirky behaviour.
