I woke my pismo from sleep this AM only to find that I was pegged at 100% cpu. a quick view of the process viewer showed that an application called "TruBluEnv" was sucking up 80 % of my already meager CPU. So I killed the app.

CPU % settled down but does anyone know what exactly I killed? Tru Blue?

That's the Classic env. for OS 9. No idea why it would be sucking 80%. You can set classic to sleep if no classic apps are open in the Classic Pref Pane. Try that, if you've got to have Classic running all the time.
