Can anyone tell me how to register an application as an assistive application so that it can use the NSAccessibilityPostNotification? Also does the assistive app have to register itself for every single application or will registering once with the OS give it access to all the application(even ones that open after it registers itself)?

Any sample code would be highly apreciated.

I think you meant to post in Developer

As fas as I know, it's like this:
You can't register yourself as an accessibility application, you need to get the user to turn on "Enable access for assistive devices" in the "Universal Access" preference pane.
