When I first started using iChat, I really liked how it displayed one of those "..." balloons for the remote person when they were typing (it does the same thing when I am typing). Now, it seems to have stopped doing it for the remote person. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a way to get that back?
thanks!

I've noticed this as well. Wondered if it was me or not.

This is working fine for me....of course, all my buddies are also using iChat, maybe that makes a difference?

Yeah, they have to be using an official client like AOL's AIM or iChat for that feature to work, just like file transer, buddy icons, and away message checking. It has to do with AOL making 3rd party clients use a different protocol that doesn't have access to those features.

Well, I just did some more testing. When the remote persion used the Official AIM client on OS X, the "..." indicator showed up in iChat. However, when the remote persion used the latest official AIM client for Windows, the indicator did not show up in iChat. I'm positive this used to work with the Windows AIM client.
