OK at work my desktop mac sits on
a network. At home my laptop is one of a number of machines hanging of an AirPort basestation which makes another network. The ABS is on ADSL and I can ssh through the work firewall to my desktop machine.

Can I tunnel rendezvous so that when I fire up iChat at home it sees everyone at work ?

Thanks - Michael

Afraid not - rendezvous only works across a single subnet, while your two macs are on different networks altogether.
[vash:~] banana% killall killall
Terminated

Thanks Gul,

I found a neat list of ports here

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106439

I tried tunnelling the port for Rendezvous
on one machine to the other but that didn't seem to do anything.
