Help! Programs don't see fonts anymore

	I just noticed that the font choices in all my programs is suddenly very limited to about 10 of the standard fonts. I have a lot more (maybe 125) in my Fonts folder that are usually available. I checked and they are all still there. What could cause this problem? Any idea how to get the system to use the fonts again? I don't know where to even begin troubleshooting this one... Any help appreciated. TIA JRT BTW this is under 10.2.3 with a gig of ram.
