it now has tabbed browsing. I know it has been talked about, mulled over and deliberated far far too much since Safari was released, but if Konqueror now has tabs in this new release and Apple based Safari on KHTML, would it be reasonable to assume that atbbed browsing is at the very least a possibility for the future?

I don't really advocate things one way or another, Apple can and probably will do what they see best with their new browser. If that means tabs, grand job. It on the other hand it means no tabs, then so be it.

There is some useful / revelant information with regards the new release of KDE here:

Please don't flame me, I just thought I would see how this could affect the outlook for Safari, if at all.

It's been said before.

Tabs do not have ANYTHING to do with the rendering engine.

It is up to the browser developer to add Tabs.
