So a Mac user friend of mine just jumped into the world of OS X. He currently doesn't have a DVD player in his machine, but just placed an order for one. Problem is, when he installed X, it didn't detect a DVD drive, so it didn't install DVD Player. Now that he's getting a DVD drive, he would like DVD Player. He can't find it on Apple's site as a stand alone download, and he can't find it on the install CDs (neither can I).

Anyone know if I could just copy over my DVD Player app over to his machine? Or where we could find a download?

You should be able to install it from the OS CD using Pacifist.
