I've seen it brought up several times in these forums: logging out often causes kernel panics.

I checked the Apple KB and found this article about 10.1 and this problem here .

It says the update should fix it, and we're way past that one into 10.2.3. Do we just wait for another update or is there something I can do in the meantime to stop this from happening?

I did read that thread but decided not to delete all of my preferences (like that one poster suggested). Guess I'd rather b**** about it than have to re-do all of my preferences. I do that enough every time Safari decides to quit unexpectedly on startup.
