I receive numerous emails and I have made folders for each person that I often receive emails from. Is there a way to use applescript, such that when I use the applescript, it will move all emails that are older than 'yesterday' and whoever sent that email have it move their email to their respective folders and if I don't have a folder for that sender/email then move it to my default folder.

surely if you are using mail.app you can set up loads of rules?

You can set up rules to do this. But as for AppleScript if you have the December Dev tools Script Editor's record feature actually works now.
