Hi!
I have just rescued my broken OS X volume with Diskwarrior, and it seems to work, but Diskwarrior created a folder called "Rescued Items". The files in the folder were unimported, so I deleted them, but I can't delete the folder. Finder says the file was in use, and "sudo rm -r" in the Terminal leads to a "Directory not empty" message (in spite of the -r option). The strangest of all: Listing the folder with "ll" shows the usual ".." and "." folders, but the latter is shown twice. Isn't that strange?

hi.
try the "rmdir" command. for example:
rmdir Rescued\ Items/
or
sudo rmdir Rescued\ Items/
don't know if that helps. i am not sure, but i think the "-r" flag for the "rm" command, deletes folders inside the requested folder, but not the actual folder itself.

No, doesn't work either, "Directory not empty".
I just notices another strange thing: Every single time I use sudo I get the message with the two hints (think before you type and so on). If I remember correctly, this used to be only the first time you use sudo, didn't it?

Hi!
Yes, of course I have. I managed to delete it with a little help from OS 9. Thanks!
