is it possible to copy vcds to the hd is OS10.2 ? whenever I have tried it it always comes up with an error. Is it possible?

It is possible with the freeware application VCD Copy X. Get it at http://www.ns-software.com/VCDCopyX/.

I have a similar problem, maybe someone can help with a solution. I bought some VCD's recently and they won't play in my Sony DVD player (my DVD player will play other VCD's though). When I insert them in my computer Toast recognizes them as VCD's, and I can play them on my Mac with VLC.

What can I do to transorm these VCD's into a format that my DVD player will accept? Thanks.
