Is there a way to make a hyperlink in 'Mail' so I don't have to send a long url within my message? I was using Entourage and was able to do it, but am trying to not use Office at all.

AOL,Qwest and M$ free since 2003.

short answer: no.

longer answer: there's no way to encode Mail currently to make more complex HTML mail or whatnot, BUT Mail does currently automatically parse URLs and renders them click-able by the receiver. Unfortunately they end up still having to look ugly and long.

Just get Entourage scripts at MacScripter or Script Central . Then just control/click and choose 'make hyperlinkX'.
