When I bought my G4 iMac, I also bought the extended warranty. That gave me a disk with TechTool Deluxe.

The other day, I was going through my disks and found it. "I'll try this" I thought to myself.

Much to my disgust, I discovered I received a f'ing OS 9 app.

Hopefully a phone call will get me an upgrade to OS X - asuming one exists (I see there is a TechTool Pro 3). Have others discovered this, and received the OS X app?

Next, I keep losing downloads that have been gzipped (.gz). Any ideas how to solve this? I have been playing with iGetter.

Lastly, the iMac came with 'WorldBook'. As a free app it was fine, but not worth paying money for. I did a clean install when I installed X.2, and it is gone.

Is it on one of the iMac installation disks, or is it gone for good?

Thanks in advance.
Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it, you'd have good people doing good things and evil people doing bad things, but for good people to do bad things, it takes religion - Steven Weinberg.
