Hi all,
I played with iCal a few months back, but didn't pick it up again until now. I don't remember the events being this light. For example, the MOvies and DVD events from the iCal site are supposed to be in tan and purple respectively. They're SO light I have trouble reading them. Is it me?

Raise the contrast and lower the brightness of your screen.

Um, no. That's not the problem.

If you look at the month view, the events are VERY light. If you move to week view, they're fine.

I agree completely. The stupid pastel colors are FAR too light.

Yea, its a problem I've had since day one. I haven't figured out how to take care of it though.
If someone comes up with anything let me know!

I've sent feedback to Apple about this. For an otherwise nice program, they made a poor choice of colors. At least give us a way to customize the colors...

The SIX colors are far too light. If they just let you select the colors yourself it would solve all kinds of problems...

I agree completely - there is some hack you can do to make your own colors but it is very very involved (mostly time consuming not necessarily hard). you have to do some photoshopping of like six different graphic files and so on etc etc. i found it on macosxhints.com i think. so painful.
