Does anyone know if there is a way to get iTunes to recognize my Palm Tungsten?

If not, is there any way to get it to recognize my SD card (ie if I purchase a reader, can I copy music from an iTunes playlist to my SD card, or will I have to use the finder). I'm (as you may have guessed) looking for a quick and easy way to transfer MP3's to my Tungsten's MP3 Player.

Peace,

Mark/space has a piece of software coming out which will allow you to use the T as a iTunes playlist. They already have this functionality in the Clie version of their software, and it works great. It also mounts it as a album in iPhoto. Here is the link to the info page.

BTW, how do you find the sound on your Tungsten? I have one and copied some of my MP3s to an SD card. They sounded *really* bad, like way worse than FM quality. Just wondering if it was the way that I encoded them (these files were not encoded by iTunes..) I was using Aeroplayer B6 I believe.

Geek,
The Tungsten has a known issue with sound playback quality. Palm has promised an update soon.

I found the audio on my tungsten satisfactory. I was worried after having read all the posts. But I am no Audiophile. I'm simply using it to replace my Rio 500 when I work out, but it sounds fine to me using my free headsets from JetBlue (identical to the $1 headsets you'd buy at a walmart).
