can you use qt broadcaster to stream live to multiple users?

i was wondering if i can use my sony dv cam with qt broadcaster to stream live to multiple people? both audio and video, but more than one person... is this possible?

Yes and No.

You will need additional software like Quicktime Streaming Server. Then multiple people can see the same stream.

QT broadcaster allows you to broadcast to multiple "clients". The help provides an easy step-by step. I am doing it to boadcast FM radio in our LAN

i want to broadcast audio and video over WAN not LAN, is this possible? using my sony dv camcorder...

Do it with QT broadcaster. Follow the step by step help, which is well done. You will have to do some trial and error with the codec, by experience I would recommend Mpeg-4, but others would perhaps fill your needs better.
You had better dedicate a computer for this task, it is rather CPU-consuming.

With QT broadcaster we can listen to the radio in the entire studio, it is cool.
