Probably only because the localizations have been removed.

You probably have 4.1 international. They only release the betas in English.

They have removed all of the localizations to make it smaller.
Too bad it still has to reload the page to change text size. Still slower than Chimera.

Having used the very simple, clean and fast Safari and having used Chimera in the past few months, I can't really go back to OmniWeb.

Although it was my favorite browser UI-wise, it's currently too slow even on my dualie. OW5 will fix this, I have no doubt (especially if they eventually use webcore) so I still have hope.

OW4.2 feels faster. Not on pages like the forums, but on more simple pages it seems faster (almost up to Chi/Saf). Then again, maybe it is just wishful thinking on my part. I just love the UI and how it renders pages (plus, spell check is on by default).

The "Zoomed Text Editor" feature is awesome! I often find myself typing forum posts in Text Editor and copy/pasting them back into the browser. This feature streamlines this process into a simple, elegant solution.

Too bad the rendering speed still needs a lot of work. I'll just have to keep using the Text Editor approach with Safari for the time being.

there's a thread for OW4.2b1 over in the software forum (where it belongs....)...why not come and join the discussion over there.....so we all don't end up saying the same things twice.
