Font Pallette Will Not Display

	OS X 10.2.3 Whenever I try to display the font pallette in Mail or TextEdit, it will do nothing (usually a box of fonts appear). It's only happened recently. A check of permissions has done nothing to fix this. Edit: I also get this error in iChat when I try to set fonts: Uncaught Exception [NSCFString characterAtIndex:]: Range or index out of bounds (Quit or continue are my options)
