After downloading iPhoto 2 om my PM G4 466 MHz (640 Mb RAM and Jaguar) the zooming and panning effects of the slideshows have disappeared. Instead, the slides simply crossfade from one to the other. I have periodically experienced this previously with iPhoto 1, so I suspect that the new version requires more computing power than my system can deliver. However, I have tried to create a new, small photo library and that did not help. Has anybody experienced something similar or does anyone have a trick to get the nice effects back again?

iPhoto never did zooming and panning. That is the screensaver.
