I want to use Forty-two_v1 to decode DVD's but it says I need to make sure I have my BSD sub system installed...

How do I know? and if I need to install it how do I do that?

Make sure the BSD receipt is present. It is located at /Library/Receipts/BSD.pkg. If the receipt is missing, BSD is not installed.

graphics84, have you got forty-two to successfully convert a DVD to DivX or something else? I left my computer running for hours and it got stuck at 87 mins. Very, very frustrating.
