Don't know what else to call it but sticky menus; single click a menu item in any app and it should stay expanded - but sometimes mine does not do that. I am back to the click and hold days!!

If I log out and back in it fixes the problem, but it is extremely annoying. Is there some reason why this is happening? A permanent fix?

My boss's wife's new 17" iMac has this issue, too. I called Apple and they had me do the standard reset-open-firmware-and-pram deal. Not sure yet whether it's fixed it or not, since it's a sporadic thang.

I hope someone can shed some light on this - it drives me nuts whenever I'm hiding porn on her machine for her to accidentally stumble across when showing files to people.
