I have a G4 Ti Powerbook running OS 10.2.3. I'm up on the internet via Airport and a router. Ever since I updated to iPhoto 2.0 my software update won't work (it comes back with an error message) and although I can recieve emails, I can't send any out if there is an attachment, even my signature file (I tried Webmail, Apples Mail program and Entourage). My email only works when I don't have any sort of an attachment. I tried running disk repair and repair permissions, but nether helped. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to solve this?

P.S. I have a second mac (a G3 beige running OS 9.2), and my email works fine on that machine.

Don't know if this helps you, but I had several problems with mail if I filled in the correct default pop mail settings in System Preferences. It seems like it became a conflict between the global settings and Mails own setup somehow. I don't have a .mac account my self, and found a workaround by filling in a dummy .mac settings in system preferences. Not sure if this is what you was looking for thought.
