Sorry - this post is a bit UK-centric (makes a change)
If you use Vodafone as your mobile Network provider you can get your voicemail delivered to your mac!
If you upgrade (free) your voicemail from normal voicemail to Vodafone Mail (
http://www.vodafone.net) then you can get your Voice Mailbox as an IMAP (or POP) mail acccount!
Then alter your Voice Mailbox preferences to deliver VoiceMail as an SMS (instead of calling you back)
This leads to your voicemail being delivered to Mail as a WAV attachment.
Very useful. (especially as you no longer use up "Free" minutes picking up your voicemail messages)
If you are out & about you can still get your voicemail as normal - you just dial 242 instead of 121.
You also get a fax number that routes faxes into the same mailbox (not that I know anyone that uses fax anymore.)
Very cool.
p.s. The certificate on the vodafone.net site had expired last time I checked - I told Customer Services, but for now Safari refuses to enter it. - but you can use Chimera instead.
Wow - Vodafone finally provided a product that doesn't cost the earth and is useful!
