Just got my new Powerbook 12. Works great except I cannot add 3rd party Pref panes. I have done this many a time on my other macs, but they are just not showing up in System Preferences here. Tried deleting and recreating the PreferencePanes folder at /Library. Tried moving it to ~/Libary. Tried repairing permissions, running fsck, ect...

Anyone with any ideas?

Try deleting ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.preferencepanes.cache.
