Here's a weird problem. Every so often when I log out of my account i get the little spinning wheel that shows up when the machine shuts down. It just sits there forever until i manually reboot the machine. Any ideas? This is on a DP G4 450 with 10.2.3

sometimes it will spaz out if there isn't a lan/'net connection.

ouch. You need to boot from the 10.2 cd-rom and run disk utility (or fsck if you know how) to fix the disk errors you no doubt have. also repair permissions after you have scanned, repaired, and rescanned your drive.

I've tried doing a disk repair and that takes care of it for a while, but eventually the problem creeps back.
